Global Achievements

Mare nostrum achievement
So, i started with Naples, formed Italy then Roman Empire around 1740. I own the mediterranean and black sea coaslines but the achievement is still at 139 / 141. Anyone has a idea of the two requirements i need ? Thanks for the help.

Interesting. Did this change with 1.28?

When I did it (can't remember which patch):
To form the Roman Empire you needed all of Iberia (including Canaries/Azores/Madeira).

To get Mare Nostrum you only needed to own the coastlines and be Roman Empire (i.e. you can lose most of your provinces after forming Rome and still get the achievement.

Canaries/Azores/Madeira are among those provinces needed to form Rome but not needed for the achievement.

Well, unfortunatly, it didn't change anything to own Madeira, Azores and Canaries... I didn't need them to form the Roman Empire but i think they are not requested for the Mare Nostrum achievement either. I'm still locked at 139 / 141 and i don't know what i need.

When you open achievements panel and hover over the Mare Nostrum bar where it says 139/141 it should highlight the porvince you are missing with purple border.

From your screenshot (it is kind of small so I am not completely sure) I would say you are missing 2 provinces in North Africa that are not coastal but are required for achievement - Oujda (2465) and Tlemcen (336).

The Golden Century updated North Africa map but achievement was probably not updated with it.

Indeed, i missed Oujda and Tlemcen and they are required for the achievement. Thank you ! Just have to wait for the end of the truce with Portugal now.

I reported this as bug in Paradox bugs forum, these provinces clearly do not belong to the achievement anymore.
