How to fabricate claims overseas?
I am playing as Hamburg and I want to conquer Connacht in Ireland for colonizing the americas. But how can I fabricate a claim and get a Casus Belli?

Irelnd isn't in a colonial region or trade company area, so I think you need to share a border or sea tile. Otherwise, you need to no-cb

Won't work on Ireland. Would work on any nation in the new world close enough to colonize (but at that point it would make more sense to just send over a colonist somewhere unoccupied)

Age of Discovery Age Ability, "Claims bordering Claims", takes some time but works (bordering by sea zone counts).

That is hugely inefficient. You could've finished the War, let the AE from the No-CB burn down, and have eaten all of Ireland and started in on Scotland by the time you've claim hopped to ireland. (not to mention tying up your diplomats for a very unreasonable amount of time).

I would never do it myself, I just said it is possible, I never said it is good.
