Art of war not working for me!
Yesterday , I bought the Art of War DLC. I bought it so I can have all the cool new diplomatic options such as make marches and stuff like that. I turned it on on the launcher and it doesnt work. The only changes i saw was to let ''Friendly ships attach to my ships''. I dont know what to do and I need help now!!!

Did you start new game or trying to continue old save that was started without AoW?

Yeah I did start a new game but it still doesnt work!!!

Is Art of War active in the main screen? After you click Single Player there is Start Scenario/Savegame picker in left top corner and all the DLC are shown as little circles next to it. The ones you have bought and are active, are colored, inactive DLCs are grey. Art of War DLC looks like red flag, is it red or greyed out?

Sometimes Steam client have troubles with recently bought addons and refuse to install them. If you see this (own MoW but it still not installed) then try to reboot your PC.

It is colored in.

So... why you think it is not working? If you select a fleet, do you have Mothball and Upgrade Ships buttons there (even when you can not actually click them because there is nothing to upgrade)?

Tonypa, I bought this DLC cos I wanted to make client states have more covert actions. I dont even care as much for the naval and military stuff. Buut the mothball stuf is there. Im just really confused why is the diplo stuff not working.

client states require diplo tech 22 or 23.

If the fleet buttons are in the game then AoW DLC is working.

As brian_va already replied, you need Diplo Tech 23 to create Client States. Click in one of your provinces and below buttons to raise or lower Autonomy are 3 buttons to Add Province to HRE, Return Province and Client State.

I know, but you know how you can Counterespionage and fight for a subjects Cb? It doesnt work for me.
