Mingsplosion
Hey,
I read somewhere that ming exploding had been patched up and was now really rare. Is this the case? Because right now Ming is in around 16 different pieces.

it is rare, but the same goes for the Burgundian inheritence nowadays aswell, like it happens but usually not while your in the region

Well, I'm Japan, so I'm guessing I should exploit the situation?

If you're playing as Japan then vassalise some hordes like yeren and give them a border with Ming and Ming will eventually explode because of that disaster they get

the disaster needs the Horde to have 300 dev, so yern would need to have all of Manchu and mongolian and oriat territory

It can still happen but there was a time when it was pretty much a sure thing in ai hands...

Yep. Mechanics changed though.

As long as they have good amount of tribunaries they wont implode, unless they let a horde grow to big. Letting them get good amount of war exhaustion is also good. If you start remove tribunaries they will lose mandate then stuff will happen very rapidly

Which also was my plan & course of action in my latest Bengal-game (not finished) to get rid of the ming-threat.

In my game, I was the horde hoping to cause mingsplosion. Those were totally fine with mandate 0 for a 100 years. (Do ming always take the tolerance idea group?) Had to defeat them the old fashioned way.

Well as I'm Japan and the Mingsplosion happened normally, time to sweep in and take it all. :D

In my case it seemed to required a war to really start the rebels going. The chopping away off the tribunaries was just preperations, otherwise Ming would just stomp the rebels while going for some ideas.
Me (bengal) togheter with Bahmanis kicked Ming so hard so they couldnt defend against rebels anywmore (war exhaustion, low manpower, demands of money in peace). After that they were done for.

dont take the Mandate just leave Ming with it as an OPM, the claims might be nice but dealing with the mandate for the rest of teh game will just slow you down

I have yet to have this happen. :(

If yu want to see Ming break up, do not install Mandate of Heaven.
