Reducing nobility influence
How can I do that ? They have reach 90% influence and are fomenting a coup. Can't see any interaction making them lose influence.
Please help me !

Ive got a problem similar to this one. Im playing as the Mamluks and wasnt paying attention and now the aristocratic coup fired. I tried remoking their control from a few provinces, but it isnt reducing their influence at all. THeres no possible way for me to get their influence under 60 at the moment or is there something im overlooking?

It removes 0.0% influence (ie no impact at all) and after 3 or 4 provinces removed they simply refuse to be further dipossessed and go into rebllion.

If they lose 0% when you remove land that means they had too much land in the first place (as influence from land is capped at 40%). To avoid disaster you just keep removing land and deal with the rebels that will spawn due to it.

and in the future, try not to give them too much. (generally unless there's a clear plan in place you should only give them the minimum to keep them happy and take provinces the moment you don't them to have it anymore).

Especially not nobles. They don't really give much back for it.

Church at least gives you taxes and Burghers give more goods produced/trade power.

yeah they give more manpower but more money = more mercs which under-values the manpower since even a couple of well placed mercs can dramatically reduce your manpower consumption. And is more flexible so if you don't need extra mercs you can build more buildings or subsidize colonies or fund rebels in every country in Europe because what else are you gonna use 40,000+ ducats and 8+ diplomats for???
