Default CB policy for other provinces than in list
I'm going to keep it short. For example, should I take a Reconquest CB as my CB when attacking a country - this Rec. CB is for 5 out of the 25 provinces. What score calculation is done for the other 20 provinces? I also have Imperialism available - is that taken into consideration? Or how is score calculated for those which do not fall into the Rec. CB I just selected?

Imperialism gives 75% AE and 75% cost for every province. Does not matter if you have core or not.

Which is better? Depends how many you can grab with 100% Warscore. If you can only take those 5 for 25% AE and 75% WS then Reconquest. If you want to take more or all of them, and you can fit them all into 100% WS with 75% modifier, and extra AE does not matter, then Imperialism.

Thing is with reconquest, you already have a "core" / claim, which is an other -10% AE in upon it self, next too the already lowered AE from returning vs conquering it self.

Remember, claims / cores also reduce AE and so does Prestige (or increase it if you have negative prestige).

So it all depends on several factors.

Wiki says Reconquest modifiers affect peace offers:
"Cede province - Only on provinces attacker has a core on
Return core"

OK so basically, the default Warscore calculation is 100% for all provinces not included in your current CB used, got it!
