I found an exploit of sorts (pretty cheesy)

Using this you can burn all the paper mana of a country and get them to -3 stability. Naturally its a bit cheesy but I did it on the Ottomans so all is forgiven in the eyes of the Lord.

The AI won't give up land in an area no matter what if you don't occupy a fort there. That means you can demand such land, and if it's less than 50% of warscore their people will expect their government to accept the deal.

But they won't, because the enemy dosen't occupy a fort there. So they decline it and the people get pissy. Repeat next month. If their stab drops too low they spend ADM to boost it up. But they'll run out eventually.

Using this, I made the Turks collapse by demanding Rhodes (9 warscore) untill they dropped to -3 stability. They now have about 120k in Rebels roaming around and its glorious.

So OP you discovered stab hits? unless i'm reading wrong, this is common knowledge

I think by exploit OP means you can demand land in peace deal that enemy will never give because you have not taken any forts, but their people still expect them to accept the deal - so they take stability hit every time you propose peace deal they can not accept.

I'm honestly surprised this isn't a huge thing that every EU4 player knows about, considering how "easy" it is to pull off and how devistating it can be. With just 20 warscore against the Ottomans I managed to make their entire country fall apart, helping me win the war as well. I literally knocked them from 3 stab with a good reserve of adm to -3 stab and flat outta paper mana in a year.

Maybe its an old thing missed in the 1.25 patch?

Well, by mentioning it now it is a pretty obvious exploit - as i have often situations with 50+ warscore but i cant peace out.

But i also didnt know about this.
