Ming Broke Tributary
I was Playing an awesome Cebu game, ming kept breaking tributary throught out the game, until I reached 1650 with only three provinces from khmer. Now I was so excited every pop uo that was apearing, I kept quickly removing it. Ming before attacking khmer broke tributary and I didn't
even notice, when I declared war.I didn't saw the icon of mind underneath allies, I didn't bother myself to read and pay attention until it was to late. Declared war My 100k guys sitting duck in ayyutayah divied, my 30k guys sieging the last provimce and I see MING coming down stack wiping my 30k and the 100k were running away with low moral. I see 30 K in philipine already being sieged and I just watched my 1000 development being siege by the monster who by the have the triple the number of my troops but me with lower moral and no mannpower. My mercernies stack wiped, raised in souther india and again stack wiped my navies with low moral parcked reduced to a dozen. I lost control, once I saw ming coming down. I deleted the save files, so I don't have proof anymore. Wasted 12 hours of my bloody existence to nothing, because didn't bother to read nor pay attention. I feel so stupid and upset, I'm thinking to delete the bloody game just to distance myself.

You've always got to be prepared for the ming. The best move is to strategically move your border to mountains or hills and place a row of forts so that he has to attack into bad terrain giving you an advantage in battle. The ming is no joke and honestly imo the hardest nation to counter in the game. I just played Nepal and they attacked me because j wouldn't become their tributary. We fought maybe 5 wars before I was able to beat them. This current game as Japan they just broke their tributary over me and are moving troops to the Korean border so I know what's going on there too. They're rough man.

This happened to me as Cebu as well but it was totally random it felt to me. I was a loyal subject of theirs but I was busy conquering much of their other tributaries. I had Lan Xang as a vassal at one point which bordered them so I figured maybe it was some weird calculation bug that made them suddenly hostile towards me because since Lan Xang was not technically their tributary but even testing out by not having them as a vassal any more they soon broke the tributary status anyway. It was annoying because it was sooner than I wanted it to be because I still had a few other tributaries I needed land from but I managed to deal with it in the end and beat the hell out of them anyway. I made them suffer for revoking my subjugation after being such a loyal servant of theirs.
