Help me lost colonialism casus belli?
guys im playing as France and i have colony in Carribean (Antilles). Portugal and Holland also have a colonial nation in the Carribean. Beforehand i had Colonialism casus belli towards them but now i dont have any Colonialism casus belli anymore. Its year 1576 and i upgraded my Governmant rank to Empire couple years back. Anyone know why i lost the colonialism casus belli while i have adjacent colonies?

Their (and/or your) colony grew up and became part of a colonial nation. Since you no longer have a colony bordering their colony you no longer have that CB. (Note that for the CB your CN doesn't count as being your colony nor does theirs)

thanks for the response bro, but i the answer lays here: my colonial nations had no claims on the surrounding colonies xD. thats why i had no colonialism cb

Whether your CN has claims or not is irrelevant, that would enable a different CB...

You only have the colonialism CB as long as you have an owned colony or city with a land border to one of their owned colonies or cities.
With you stating you have a colonial nation in there any colony that turns to a city is handed over and you no longer own it, hence you no longer get the CB.
