...you can also just entirely ignore them tho. They wont do much if you dont interact with them - only occasionally some events that might drop their loyalty below 40, nothing really bad.
Often, estates will still have influence even with zero provinces.
A better solution is to learn to use them to get 150 monarch points from each estate once every 20 years. And manpower. And money. And colonial growth. And free heavy ships. And strong generals. And advisors. And even more...
If they go below 40%, all you lose is money or manpower growth until they get back above that. A pretty decent trade, is it not?
And, by putting them in the best provinces and developing them correctly, the 25% autonomy floor does not actually even cost you anything!
...which then disables ironman and achievements.
You can still play ironman with mods.
I am not aware of a mod that disables ironman on purpose.
But about the achievments...
I set ironman on the same level as getting achievements since thats more or less the sole purpose of it.
Not really. I only play Ironman but set historically lucky nations off which disables achievements.
