Worst feelings in EU4

I was playing an EU4 game, and there was unrest brewing in a province. I noticed I had a lot of martial points, so I decided to use some harsh treatment to squash them. I accidently clicked the wrong button, and gave into demands. Now I lost three provinces to that independence movement. That was ... frustrating.

So that got me thinking, what are some really bad feelings you've had while playing EU4?

Yup, it's "Austria inherits everything and wrecks your life" time.

- Playing Busoga for Victorian Three
- Got a very good start and managed to eventually throw all non-Africans out of Africa and get the Fetishist achievement
- Problems with Internet connection without me noticing
- Save was de-Ironmanned
- It was around 1700

Lowering inflation but accidentally smashing the file bankruptcy button.....

My game mysteriously crashed after that one. I totally did NOT alt-f4

Yeah that happens sometimes to me too ...weird bug ... happens most time after an army got wiped ...

Fighting a big war against multiple enemies, you currently have your desired peace terms saved for the primary defender but they wont accept yet cuz of their allies, you knock each ally out one by one till just the primary defender remains. So, you go to then offer the peace deal that you "thought" was saved and in your haste, you end up offering the primary defender a white peace after all that by mistake cuz the peace terms you originally had there somehow got cleared
