As i mention in OP there is no trade company button as there usually is on this trade node
I do amd as i mention in OP i have formed trade companies here before
I am Mamluks now arabia so guess that the reason , wish i had known that , never heard of this before. It's miles from me , even farther away from me than countries like portugal and Castille so i dont see the sense in that rule in a circumstance like this , seems stupid .

You can, but they need to be overseas for you. In Indonesia for instance some provinces will be overseas and others not when playing as Malacca for instance (mostly some islands arent)
