Why can't i form trade company here?

i've formed one there before but the button isnt there on the province screen and no trade company button when i click on the trade node.

Click on the trade node and there should be a button to add all provinces belonging to it to a trade company.

Do you have the Wealth of Nations dlc?
Becuse its only in that one.

As i mention in OP there is no trade company button as there usually is on this trade node

You can't form Trade Companies on the same continent where your capital is.

I am Mamluks now arabia so guess that the reason , wish i had known that , never heard of this before. It's miles from me , even farther away from me than countries like portugal and Castille so i dont see the sense in that rule in a circumstance like this , seems stupid .

You can, but they need to be overseas for you. In Indonesia for instance some provinces will be overseas and others not when playing as Malacca for instance (mostly some islands arent)
