Country Search in Select Screen?

I may be the only one, but I am absolutely horrible at Geography, so when I look online for something like trade nations like Netherlands or Genoa, I have absolutely no idea where to find them on the map. Is there a way to search for countries like you can do in game?

No, you'll have to start a game and look it up there..,
But the more you play the better you will know where the countries are to find... ;)

Doesn’t EU IV have a shortcut like Crusader Kings did where you hit ? and type the name of the kingdom you seek and the screen centers on that kingdom?

Even For the Glory has a search function to find provinces

Edit: There is a search function in EU IV. It’s a button at the lower right of the screen and alternatively pressing the "f" key. So simply press f and type genoa and the screen will center on the province of genoa.

And for the original poster: The Netherlands aret at the delta of the river Rhine, in the western part of the HRE, east of England.
Genoa is in northwest Italy, south of the Alps, east of Savoy. And you should get an Atlas to at least have an idea how the world looks and what country is where...
