Hi guys, I'm going to make a game with Naples in order to get 2 achievement: Form Italy and Become a Great Power with Naples. Which is the best way to achieve that? Ideas, allies, etc? Thanks!

First ask for support independence from aragon rivals. These should be castille, france, maybe england and maybe austria.
When you have enough allies you should declare and win your independence.
Forming italy will make you a great power so nothing more is required, italy has a lot of development.
Take it slow and improve relations, conquer the papal state but not rome untill you can form italy, then wait for the shadow kingdom and take the rest of the provinces.

If you want something to do before the 1490, maybe conquer provence or aragon. If you want to continue to the end game, taking over all of iberia and then france is a good objective if you are a novice.
With italy's ideas you can WC easily, but its pretty tedious, if you have never done it before.
If you want you can also go for colonial power after taking over aragon and some of castille.

Just don't expand too fast in italy or you will see 60 tag in a coalition against you, and probably rage quit. Max 3 province per war if you have no claims and don't peace out if you have more that 3 possible coalition members.

Really good thing to do while getting independence from Aragon is taking cheapest core of Catalonia and releasing them. You get alot of development without getting any real AE and you have a decent vassal

I would consider it :D

I'm currently playing Naples and achieved independence. For some reason, no one except Castile wanted to support my independence because king of Aragon was excommunicated. I think this should be exactly why they should've supported independence if anything.
I think it's worth it to try to retake as much land from Aragon as possible. Almost as soon as I finished the war, the Iberian Wedding has fired and now I'd have to fight Castile and it's allies if I wanted their land.
I also thought to expand into Tunis and get an achievement for destroying Carthage on the way. But this game they expanded a lot, taking nearly all of northern Africa and allied with Ottomans.
Right now I'm trying to take my slice of Venice who is attacked by Austria and Hungary in two different wars. But after that I have no idea what to do until Italy leaves HRE.

I just gained independence and took Sicily. My plan is to take Sardinia and the Balearics off of Aragon and perhaps free Catalonia. After that, I'm not sure what I'll do.

I have tried, asked for support to France and Castille but they want not because of their neutral status. Have waited and after the Iberian Weding nothing changed, Castillian Rivals said the same because of the neutral status. Any idea?

You probably need the patch 1.24.1

Just to be sure, have you improved relations with aragon rivals? That should give you a boost to accepting, when they turn friendly. Hiring a dip rep adivisor and doing dip rep mission will also help.
There was a bug in a recent patch with friendly status, might want to update or roll back.

Post here again if you want more input

Also, save Rome for last because if the negative modifiers. Build up a decent navy to fend off Aragon and Venice. You need Verona from Venice anyway, and you'll want to take the Venetian trade node at some point. Offensive to deal with all the forts, and Economic with anywhere in Italy will make you super rich. I did the Naples achievement before they changed its National ideas, and they're better now. Pretty fun.

Just got the achievement. Was a great power long before forming Italy. AE in Italy is really high and you should probably never get more than 1-2 provinces in a single war. Just wait, you are not really losing much by waiting a couple years. After all, you are already ahead of most countries simply by virtue of your location and by having great national ideas. Also, Pope will rival you at some point and you'll be permanently excommunicated from this point on.

Also, this game was full of unusual stuff going on. Poland declined PU over Lithuanina and they both got eaten entirely. In their place were huge Livonian Order, Galicia-volhynia and Odoyev with bits taken by Muscovy and Denmark. England somehow not only retained their northern lands on continent, but managed to conquer more from France after annexing all of Ireland. Papal state expanded like mad, nearly reaching me in size, but got crushed into 1k gold debt between Savoy and myself. Genoa took most of crimean steppes, but lost their original lands to Savoy. Theodoro later took their lands, only to be broken by rebels, releasing Crimea who instantly got event for becoming Ottoman vassal...
