when called into a war can you get any land or anything?
I keep getting called into wars as an ally , i fight and capture stuff and have good participation but it seems the country that started the war is the only one who gets anything

Same in reverse , sometimes i want to give something into the peace deal to an ally when i start it and they help

Seems to me a♥♥♥♥♥♥system that lots of nations fight but the only one getting anythng is the country that starts the war , surely everyone who participated should be getting a say in the peace deal?

I'm enjoying the game so far but this seems a terrible oversight and a dreadful system.

Am i missing something? is there a way to get involved in the peacve deal without doing your own peace deal and annoying allies? or is the system this♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Do you have the Cossacks DLC? Or, whichever DLC adds favors. If you do, your ally will usually only give you land if they promise territorial gains. This is an option players and the AI can use to get allies to join without spending 10 favors. Setting provinces as vital interests and fabricating claims on them increase the chances of your ally giving them to you.

Otherwise the AI will just ♥♥♥♥ you over endlessly tbh.

ok :) , no i dont have that DLC

I'll just do my own peace , the -30 diplo i guess doesnt matter when you way over 200. Just seems an awful system.

Without DLC AI may give you land if you have claim\core on it and also occupied it by yourself. If i have few claims and contribute significantly, I usually get something in almost every war.

ok good to know , i've never seen it but i am new to the game. I'm not sure i could find that reliable enough when i really want a piece of land. Maybe i will try it again a few times to see . Making my own peace for -30 rep does seem a better more reliable way though

Even in basic game you get double prestige for any help you give. High prestige improves relations with vasals and increases your score and your dynasty score.

Basically give help if its risk free for the double prestige but dont support an ally too hard and take losses.

The system isnt flawed, they have no reason to give you land, if they dont want to, they called you in as an ally, you dont deserve the land

Once I got 30 ducats once for helping spain in their offensive war.

You can give provinces to allies in the peace deal of your war if they occupied provinces adjacent to their land. Giving them provinces won't count against your AE score and will give a temporary diplomacy influence with them.

Also, if you want to take a province, make sure you occupy it before your ally or you won't be able to claim it.
