Historical rivals
Does the modifier ever go away? I have just vassalised ottomans as byzantite but they have 50% liberty desire from being a rival. If it doesn't stop I will break vassalisation.

Took a bunch of loans and managed to ally Hungary and Aragon. Then attacked ottomans when they were fighting someone else.

Historical rivals / friendships can go away via events, but it's rare or takes prety long time. Better get placating and earning that prestige :D

There's always the "placate ruler" option, if you have a lot of prestige to spend.

Yeah I could of done that I guess but they were being a pain anyway, Kept asking for their cores back I kept saying no do it increased liberty and then they got support independence from spain, poland and egypt so I just got rid of them. Karamans are a much more friendly vassal :D

i am a turkish and didnt get mad about it also ottomans are one of the strongest nation of that period and byzantine was falling thats the reason why i asked the question :steamsalty:

Ottomans is retty easy to deal at the start, AI is retarded, it ignores terrain, corssing penalty and all of this ♥♥♥♥.

If you have more than half of the brain you can bait them into your big AF army.
