Unified japan, didnt get the achievement

You're trying to get the "unite Japan as a Daimyo" one, right? Maybe try colonizing the Kuril Islands, since they are a part of the Hokkaido state, or whatever the northern island is called.
Also, who did you play as?

if u were going for the The Chrysanthemum Throne u need to be a daimyo

I'd imagine you probably can't get the achievement as Ashikaga, since they don't start the game as a Daimyo. But colonizing the Kurils is still worth a try I suppose.

I think this achievement is broken, because you have to unite all Japan as a Daimyo, not as a Shogun, read the description.

No colonization is needed, just take the korean isle that they have.

Okinawa is also needed if you don't have it.

Map got updated, Jeju is no longer part of Japan.

That or the one to the North of it that Korea has. I can't quite recall which one finally fired the cheevo for me.

You need Okinawa, the only province Ryuku has. Jeju, the Korean one; is not necessary to get the achievement. I can't remember a time where it ever was, I got this achievement so long ago and I know I didn't take Jeju. The Achievement fired for me after I conquered Ainu, thus taking the northernmost Island in the archipelago. This is why I think colonizing the Kurils might be necessary now, since it's considered a part of that island.
