+15% Inf combat ability, combine with Quality idea group for the extra 10% and maybe even the Modern Firearm Techniques policy from a Quality/Inovative combo giving an extra 20% and you have troops that can stomp most things.
-25% Core creation cost speaks for itself, combine with Admin for 50% savings on those precious admin points.
+20% Global trade power, very useful for if you have cornered the market in Genoa or Venice.
+50% Improved relations is very nice for turning outraged countries opinions of you around so they dont join coalitions.
+20% Fort defence has become a good idea of late where siege racing appears to be more prevalant in this rendition of the game.
The only really weak idea Italy has is probably the +1 yearly prestige as prestige is pretty easy to come by these days.
As for Nepolitian ideas they are widely regarded as some of the worst in the game....
+10% morale of armies and the -5% tech cost are the stand out ideas that would be nice in any countries idea groups, the rest are poo.
