Can't Accept Culture as Mamluks

I'm playing as the Mamluks, and after taking Turkish culture provinces from Karaman and Dulkadir - and then coring the provinces - I can't seem to accept the Turkish culture.

When in the Government tab, the Turkish culture won't appear at all. What's strange is I don't suffer any additional -2 unrest in Turkish provinces, and the "Beja" culture appears in the government tab yet I have no Beja provinces (I gave them to my Beja vassal).

Is this a bug? Or I am I missing something?

Non-existant screenshots arent really a help - Turkish is part of Mamlukians culture group tho and thats the reason why there is no -2 unrest.

Culture should show in the non acceptec tab already after coring, just checked it as mamluks

Note that you get a cultural union once you become empire rank, which means turkish would show in the accepted culture tab - talking about Dulkadir and Karaman it assume you arent that far tho.

You dont want to accept turkish anyway as you will get a cultural union btw

needs to be 20 development of that culture in states. territorial cores will count, so you can flip something to being a state, press the culture button in empire tab, and then flip the state back to being territory if it's not stuff you want as state.

UPDATE: This was definitely a bug. After conquering some provinces from Iraq and coring them, Mashriqi showed up in the non-Accepted tab and NOW Turkish has appeared in the non-Accepted tab.

Another interesting thing to note is that Beja culture was in the non-accepted tab at 0% for the longest time, and now, Beja is gone. Something definitely switched.

Your screenshot shows you have room for one more culture. So now you can buy Turkish culture for 100 diplomat points to be apart of your accepted culture.

What he means is that the culture isnt even shown in the tab, even tho it should.

I made a Mamluk test run, as soon as i cored dulkadir turkish showed up in the tab with 0%, its not showing for him.

In the pic you quoted "beja" disappeared from the non accepted culture tab, in pics above it is shown tho.
