If you're able to take a screenshot the next time you feel this is happening, that would be helpful. It's much easier for us to investigate if we can see the layout.
Mission 4, "Under Attack". In first turn, after first scientist spawned then I quit the game then closed the game. Then restarted the game and continued mission 4. 2nd scientist didn't spawn and in-game event didn't proceed, including event where Terraformer being stolen, which means no enemy reinforcement, except for 1 truck and 2 infantries.
Difficulty is Brutal, but I believe same goes for other difficulties.
I guess Terraformer never being stolen means I won the game as of Mission 4.

Side talk. I know your game's launch was rough. But I have a faith in this game, I really like this game. I still think all money I paid was completely worth it even with some flaws..
So, please don't give up, please don't let those complainers ruins your motivation. While their criticism are valid, most of their behavior is out of the line.
So, good luck. I'll let you know if I found an another bug.
As other mentioned. If I have infantry they can go to the east (plains) and further east (mountains). But it cannot go east (plains) and north (mountains). it should be able to go to both mountains.
Maybe the game tries to go north (mountains) and then east (mountains) so the second mountain 2+2=4 is more than the movement allowance (3) so its unavailable. But does not take into account the best path east (plains) + north (mountains) = 3
The Windows version seems to run just fine via Proton Experimental.
I've played this mission several times, and have even beaten it twice! But, it's about a 50% chance the truck will get targeted by the laser within the first 2 strikes. Not sure if that is part of the mission design, but it feel like a bug that the lasers are targeting the truck to begin with.
Running linux with 4 monitors (xorg).
Distro: Pop OS
Problem: when I switched to borderless windowed from fullscreen, the game window teleported to another monitor, but only half inside. The other half of the game window was floating in no man's land outside the monitor so I couldn't reach the setting to undo the window mode change. I had to reset the settings file manually (which took some googling to find).
Update: turns out the path for the settings file I found was wrong, there is no $HOME/.godot/ directory on my machine.
Still searching for a way to reset the settings for this game so I can play.
Update 2: It was in $HOME/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Warside/settings.cfg
Whenever I set it to fullscreen, it randomly changes position and resolution. I can even set it to fullscreen while it's already supposed to be in fullscreen and it just moves and changes sizes. It also keeps its window bar in this state. Setting it to windowed doesn't bring back the ability to maximize it, which is strange. I have to set it to windowed, close the game, launch it again, maximize it, and then and only then can I set it to fullscreen and have it work properly. Closing the game and relaunching while in fullscreen causes it to appear at some random point on one of my 4 monitors, not in fullscreen, but thinking that it's in fullscreen. (Again, having to set to windowed and relaunch then maximize the window before setting to fullscreen again)
At the very least I have a reproducible way to make it work, but the dance to get there will get taxing after a while haha.
Update: turns out it is not always reproducible. I have gotten it stuck in some sort of state where no matter what window mode I set it to, I cannot maximize it (which is the only way to escape the loop and get it into fullscreen)
Okay I got lucky and I'm NOT TOUCHING ANYTHING as this house of cards could detonate at any moment. I launched it from windowed and it magically turned itself to fullscreen, confidently stated that its resolution was 643x360 (while clearly being 1440p/2k) and looks great.
This was happening to me before I realized I was moving the bike through an enemy unit, into a forest occupied by another unit
I think the bikes’ ability to go through enemy units breaks the game in that case because it doesn’t know where to put your bike, because the last space you went through is also occupied.
