Way too expensive for a game that loops you through 3 1/2 short areas six times with new dialogue taking barely 2.6 hours.

If you have seen clips of the game on youtube you genuinely have seen the only few entertaining parts of the game. It is not worth the money probably even at 5$. I have played flash games on Newgrounds with content 30 times this length for free.

If you haven't played it just go get a good Sam & Max game or Monkey Island if you want a good point and click-type experience because this was not worth my time. I expected more but after the second loop through I realized that, that was it....Sighed....And hoped the dialogue or jokes would make up for it. It didn't.

Go get Disco Elysium or something on a keysite and play that. This is barely a "Game".

overpriced puzzle game and way to short, done in under two hours

There aren’t a lot of comedy games. There are games with jokes, or even funny games, but one could can the number of strictly comedy games released this century on all the hands and toes in their immediate family (I made this up). With the death of monoculture, the risk of trying creating popular comedy has ballooned, and so creating a game that subsists only on jokes is understandably not a popular endeavour. If you do make such a game, you must two-handedly pray that your jokes land; if they don't, every other ounce of effort was for naught, as nothing can redeem a comedy game without the comedy.

I would say I am in the exact target audience for Panic Inc.’s extremely cultural jokes. I am English, grew up in a small town largely indiscernible from that featured in this game, and currently reside in (more-or-less) the exact geographical location wherein we lay our scene. In spite of this, whilst there were occasional quips that percolated into nose exhalations, the large majority of the game’s endless assault of jokes did nothing for me. Beyond the guy campaigning to bring back asbestos (which is hysterical) most jokes are either gross, uninspired, or predictable. The way the game is designed around multiple loops through changing areas is interesting, and I am impressed with how it leverages this to set up jokes, though my interest is purely academic, and it wasn't particularly amusing to see these setups come to fruition. The animation is incredible, and the voice cast gives the material a swing so hard it probably took Matt Berry’s back out. But as I said, a comedy game lives and dies by its jokes, and for me, the death it dies is a gruesome one.

Though the upside to comedy’s objective subjectivity is that there is a chance this style of writing and these types of jokes tickle your personal fancy. Maybe you will find this funny! Thus, I would not take this disparagement to be universal, though personally I would like to send this game to the bottom of the Yorkshirian coal mine, never to be thought about again.

While it was fun at first, I completed it once and haven't touched it since. When I realized I could refund it had already been a few months since I got the game so it has just been sitting in my library. Do not recommend as it has no replayability.

It's a my thing, but I just can't connect with comedy games. I heard amazing things of this game, but I chuckled maybe twice and the rest of the experience was frustrating and dumb.

So yeah, it goes on the same list as Later Alligator, UnMetal, etc. But hey, at least I beat this one.

Not bad, I suppose!

The positives - off the wall monty-python style humour round every bend, which often lands, if sometimes being a bit over the top and shoehorned in. It is funny, and that's rare in a game. Cool little art style, and very chill, a nice game to switch your brain off to.

The negatives -

-this isn't a puzzle game or an adventure game as you might have seen based on your other games. It just isn't, it's an interactive picture book with one route to take, and zero puzzle solving, you're walking around watching the picture book play out.

-the price. Oof. Here's the big one: the game is well under 2 hours long. There was a point I left my game running for 15 minutes idle while I had to go and do something else, and there was a credits sequence that lasted around 10 minutes, and I think I'm still only at just 2 hours. There's no replayability at all, so definitely just a one time experience. £16? Hmmm.
A lot of that 1.5 hours ish is also taken up by just walking the same way round the map too getting from place to place, actual gameplay you're probably looking at 10 minutes-ish. £16? Hmmm. Hmm indeed.

Don't get me wrong it's a nice little game, but I usually have a "£1 an hour is worth it" metric for games, with exceptions of course. A nice game, but this should be £3 -at most-. £16 is insanity for what it is

Difficult to say whether I recommend it or not, in a way yes I do, I'm glad I played the experience, but it should've been for at least £13 less than what it was, so I'm going to say no, as this definitely doesn't warrant the "overwhelmingly positive" label

It's a short game with a very bizarre sense of humor that I personally didn't find funny. Art style is very nice though.

The quality of the illustrations is remarkable, I liked it.. but played two hours just to finish it and laughed twice.

This is a good game and it's pretty funny. It is unique in it's own way and I feel like I am in a kids show, which is fantastic, but it isn't worth the price it places itself. The gameplay is short, it's like a 20 dollar game for 2-4 hours of gameplay and 5 hours if you want to 100% it like I did.
