Haha never noticed that, you definitely wouldn't teach someone in a left-hand drive in Blighty. Strange mistake to make, given that the rest of the game is so intensely YORKSHIRE.

The only reason you'd buy a left hand drive car in the 80s was because they were cheaper than their right hand drive counterparts (so people who couldn't afford the UK version) OR because you couldn't buy them in the UK. These days it's generally the latter only.

There are actually a couple times where the car gets mirrored and it becomes a right-hand drive. I don't think the distinction was intentional

I was a little disappointed when I saw the left hand drive car. Especially since the game gets so much right.

It fully reminded me of a place I visited in the black country on me 'olibobs. I described the place to my mate, and he eventually say, hey that's right where I grew up. I felt so bad for slating the place. I almost thought we were enemies, then he blurts out, yeah it is a hole.
