'Patience is a Virtue' Achievement

Does anyone know when and where you're meant to wait in reception for this? I've tried what I thought was obvious but haven't managed to get it

Start of the game when you're sitting down in the chair in the Mayor's office. Just leave it for awhile (it is a long time as the music in the background will finish way before the achievement unlocks), when the time is up the Mayor will tell you to come in and the achievement will unlock.

I got the achievement within 20 mins of playtime, so maybe 15 minutes you have to sit there?

Hello, How can you get "Friend of the Forest" achievement?

So, I sat in the chair and stayed there until the Mayor finally opened his door. Once he invited me in, I left the chair and joined him. No achievement went off, though. I got the credit roll, then the game went black and I had to stop it manually. When exactly is the achievement supposed to show up if it's done right? Does it show up as soon as the mayor opens the door?

I had this same issue. Playing on Steam Deck.

Edit: I tried it again and the achievement pops as soon as you walk through the door to the Mayor's office.

Having the same issue, screen just went black and can't click or press anything.

I'm currently on my third attempt on this still not got it to pop kinda annoying as it my last achievement.
