If you're using a USB audio DAC of any kind this game doesn't support it for some reason?

I'm also having this issue, Has anyone found a solution?
Same ( and using an Audient offboard DAC ). I also have one onboard device, a virtual device and GPU/Monitor HDMI audio still enabled & it won't see those either. Maybe just doesn't like multiple audio devices?

Same issue. No workarounds found yet, I guess? May have to refund this one. Bummer.

I don't believe there's any unity execution flags to force sound device ( there's quite a few for graphics ), if there is one it's not in the Unity manual. Not sure about mods.

I don't think it'll be something hard to fix, so maybe wait a little on the refund to see if it's patched. Wierd bug though, I've come across a few games that don't like setting a particular device but never one that just refuses to play sound at all.

I've only seen this happen once and that was when my own Unity game was tested on a Mac Mini. The culprit was apparently a misbehaving custom audio driver / plugin installed by Microsoft Teams that somehow prevented the Unity engine from finding audio devices.

I sent them an email (help@thankgoodness.game) and referenced this thread. Hopefully someone over there will respond.
Having this issue also. Definitely considering a refund request if nothing come up in the next few days.

Yeah, they haven't responded to my email. I've got until early next week before I have to put in a refund request. It's a bummer because I was really excited for this one.

I have no sound. I was using bluetooth headset on pc. It seems like the same issue. I might refund and buy on ps5 instead.

I managed to fix it by going to uninstall programs, and uninstalling the realtek audio driver, and then updating with windows update. Maybe it will work for others.

Just disabling the device ( or all the devices other than the one you want to use ) might work. My soundbox appears as multiple devices, unfortunately.

Hi, I was able to fix the issue on my end by turning off "Audio Enhancements" for my sound device on Windows sound settings. (windows 11 user here)
