Gog release?
Will this release on GOG? Seems like it would be perfect for there.

+ 1!

I read that the game flopped, but you didn't give GOG users a chance to buy it!

It's unfortunate because it doesn't seem like it's much more effort to release it there.

+1. Artwork, gameplay and music perfect for GOG
Cant imagine why they wouldnt consider selling some there as long as it doesnt have a huge steamwork stuff they need to rework to get it to work?

I'd love to buy this on GOG! But if it flopped, perhaps Itch is a good place? There's no Steam tax there and you can allow for tips (which I'd certainly give).

EDIT: Oh, wait... 500+ overwhelmingly positive reviews AND it was published by Panic? This isn't a failure and it doesn't need any help with tips. XD (Still, I'd rather buy it on GOG or Itch, because monopolies are bad.)

Nope, sorry! It's yet another place to patch (or forget to patch, meaning players end up on an old version) and in our experience just drives sales away from steam (and therefore reduces steam algorithm effect) for little financial benefit (gog sales are never high and are usually less pay than steam sales). I'd be ok with itch because I like that platform, but we're not releasing there for the same reasons. We only released on EGS "to try it" (imo we found out that it's not worth it, again) and the Mac App store "because panic are mac people".

If you just concerned about DRM, the steam release is DRM-free.

I hope you will reconsider a game release once the game is EOL and there is no more patching to do.

Well, as I said, I'm concerned about monopolies.

But I'll wait (or pass). There's plenty of other games out there these days (although this one looks very nice).

It's rare to see anyone supporting anything other than steam. I hope things stay good here but yeah monopolies are bad and Gabe isn't going to be alive forever.

No DRM-free with offline installer, no buy.
