Glad they had a demo, taking this OFF my wish list immediately after I finish writing this post.
The bulk of the game seems to be this:
Walk around, wait for a yellow exclamation point or blue "ledge" to highlight. When it does you click it. Sometimes click it again because, for some reason, once isn't enough. Then walk around and wait for another yellow exclamation point or blue "ledge" to highlight for you... rinse, repeat.
Combat is slightly better but there are too many "special" moves that shouldn't be anywhere near as powerful as they are. You're better off jumping off a 3 foot high box onto someone than shooting them with a musket. Yes, you heard that correctly. I had high hopes but it's clearly just a low effort mobile style game with all its "long presses" and extremely simplistic controls that do not really make use of the keyboard and mouse the way they should. Inventory and the GUI in general are pretty mid and very clunky.
