All hero's reduced to Level 1 for no reason.

Does anyone know why this happens? This is the second time and if I don't get some kind of explanation I think I am done with this one.

When the season ends, the heroes' levels are reset.

Every new season there is a season reset where hero levels are dropped to lvl 1, all tiles are removed. But all hero ranking and staring up of that unit remains. This is a normal process of this specific game.

If I store hero experience does that get removed from my inventory when the new season starts?

This stops people being far stronger than everyone else. It levels the playing field every 6 weeks or so.
