What was the hardest outfit for you to acquire?
For me it was the devotion/nun outfit. Reason being is that I think I got too early in the game, literally my second outfit after the soldier armor in Bailey. All I had from what I recall was just the highjump and the base wall kick, that was it and it legit took me like an hour and a half to probably 2 hours to get it. Literal pain but it was worth it.

Tbh I think I "sequenced break" a lot of times in the game out of sheer determination for certain items😅.

While it can be fun to try and do these time trials under prepared, they're more fun when you have options. I really disliked the Dungeon one, but now I do enjoy it because I figured out a better way of doing it.
The Empty Bailey one can suck a ♥♥♥♥ though, I have no clue how to beat the gold time there. And by playing on Keyboard, the drift jumps are so much harder to pull off that it becomes really hard to do that one. Same for the Sansa Castle one which requires some insane precision to get the gold time. I got a flat 7 seconds on that one and it was not a gold lmao.

Just because I complained about it, I got under 7 seconds on the Sansa Castle trial lmao.
Too bad I didn't record it.
PS: never mind, just recorded another one that was faster.

Tbh now that I have all the abilities the dungeon one would probably be the easiest because the one part that gave me an issue was the second to last orb that required either the cling sleeve or a really, and I mean REALLY precise platforming on that tiny little cage on the top. That was the bane of my existence lmao. But now that I have all the abilities I think I'll just redo the trials now just for fun to see how fast I can do them.

I like that there is more than one type of time trial. You have the ones you have a set order to do, and others that you can get in any order. I really like routing out the free roam ones. Too bad there's not enough of them.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do the Underbelly time trial? It's the last one I need and I'm struggling.

Tbh I start with the right side by jumping on-top the trial stone room and heading towards the ones on the bridge. Then I jump to get the last one where the key normally is and just fall to respawn (peak gamer strats i know). After that, I go and get the last one on the right that is against the end of the wall that you'll see as soon as you look right.

Then is just to head to the left side which I start from collecting all from below then get on-top the platform and collect the final ones.

Far from perfect or efficient but hey it got the job done.

I believe you have everything unlocked? How good are you with drift jumps? And what's your goal, beating bronze or gold?
Drift jumps is what I've been calling those big leaps you can do. You know about them? The route I've come up with uses five of those optimally and I've done the trial in under 35 seconds with them. But if you just want to beat bronze, you might not need as many.

Pretty much all of them are impossible for me, I simply don't have the physical ability at my age to chain the movement to the tight degree necessary to meet the time limits.

Thankfully, the one that grants the Professional outfit is uncharacteristically simple and easy for some reason. It also happens to be my personal favorite (I looked them all up to see what the options were), so I at least have that.

I wish there was an alternative crystal to smack that would give an untimed, but significantly longer and more complex course to run. This would allow those like myself who are simply incapable of completing the timed courses to still obtain the outfits through persistent effort.
