Missing upgrades cuz "Fix" mod
I believe I've visited all the main areas of the game, including Underbelly and the Bailey area at this point, but that's thanks to the potato mod so the default game doesnt freeze at every minute on me. The worst thing tho is that I'm missing all kinds of upgrades ever since the first area and it's been really cucking me from beating the game. Freezes even happen when I go to some different areas, and the mod seems to remove attack assets, the bubbles and the upgrade spheres. Are there any solutions? I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

I use a laptop, but this is an optimization issue. There are some games that still give players issues even with the best computers, and no one talks about it

Here's the page for it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/116081683081
It's tf better than my last computer and I shouldn't have this issue in the first place since this game is so small.

Not to be that guy this isn't the greatest laptop with 2 core processor with weak iGPU, but for under $200 decent laptop to surf the web, very light weight games, and videos, but for gaming overall I wouldn't recommend it.

My early advice I still recommend saving up for a gaming laptop as that run circles around your current laptop, basically like Ferrari vs a bicycle to put it simply.

Well i bought this PC the other month and i know that. Just so i dont bore you with my life story no one gives a dam about, let's just say this isnt one of my other priorities in my unstable life. This seems to be a simple fix for the dev if we're just essentially talking about missing assets and spazzing occurring due to said assets, surely i'd fix this issue in no time if I had better programming skills with completed education

Understood, I can understand everyone has things to manage first, and it always wise to have priorities for your needs before your wants.

The issue is that mods that mess with the game aspect in texture, or such behavior could result in possible unforseen bugs.

Try this, verify game see if it find any errors in it, then try reapply mods to see what happens.

Do you know the exact mod it called I check it out, and see if I can replicate the issue, and see if I can fix it.

There is now a new version of the potato pak that is more targeted on just disabling things that crash and replace it with non crashing things where the information of it's existence is necessary:
