It's tf better than my last computer and I shouldn't have this issue in the first place since this game is so small.
My early advice I still recommend saving up for a gaming laptop as that run circles around your current laptop, basically like Ferrari vs a bicycle to put it simply.
The issue is that mods that mess with the game aspect in texture, or such behavior could result in possible unforseen bugs.
Try this, verify game see if it find any errors in it, then try reapply mods to see what happens.
Do you know the exact mod it called I check it out, and see if I can replicate the issue, and see if I can fix it.
