Solar wind feels weird

I was doing half the game without it and now it feels like I am nerfed in my movement, anyone else feel this way? The normal slide backflip felt a lot better for getting height in small areas

The game doesn't tell you this, but you can essentially do the equivalent of Mario odyssey's somersault with the solar wind alone by (marking as spoiler for anyone who wants to go blind mechanic-wise) pressing jump as soon as you land while holding the control stick to the side. Just like in Mario odyssey, i might be describing the exact input incorrectly. Doing this will give you more height than even many of the other upgrades can provide.

I think OP knows this. They don’t like the fact the ultra hop with solar wind requires more distance to use.
