More indie 3D platformers?
I've played most of the non-indie 3D platformers that interest me already (my favorite is probably the first Ape Escape, or the third), what else is on offer in terms of indies?

Here's one I've found recently, it's a bit rough around the edges but I enjoyed it for the atmosphere: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2738710/Planet_Mort/

Choice paralysis is real, it really makes it hard to stick with certain games, even if they’re really good. We are spoiled with choices nowadays, especially from indie games, they’re overflowing.

It's a stupid problem to have: Choose between one of several things in the categories of "comforting and familiar", "novel and exciting", "dull but with high potential", "extremely the thing someone would only make as the result of a specific and neurotic obsession nobody else has even considered", "conventional on the surface but makes your brain tingly in ways you weren't aware of prior", "AAA thing that everybody seems to like for some reason and gives you the false impression that you're missing out", "Dark Souls", "annoying or upsetting but good somehow", "canonically good indie game", "something you have absolutely no understanding of or experience with", or other crude and arbitrary distinctions I didn't feel like making up just now.

Especially awful when the result of that indecision is just looking at and watching the most unfathomably stupid but kind of entertaining stuff on the internet instead of Doing Literally Anything Useful Or Important or Playing A Game You Would Probably Like.

wait what

I already vibe with Demon Turf, and I expect it to become one of my favorites when/if I get back to it and dig into the rest of the game (I'm like 1/4 through the main levels, I think?) (ADHD and choice paralysis I guess), but I didn't know this was even a take that people had about the combat. It feels basically wholly unnecessary to me so far, but I'm glad it's possible to appreciate it and there's a chance I could wind up liking it. Also not sure I'm on board with the...badges? (I can't remember what they're called right now) The core moveset is already fantastic and I don't see how you could really modify it in an interesting way.

its really an acquired taste for sure. i ended up trying and quitting for a year until i got 100%. the devs really added a ton of content to the game (almost too much) but i ended up exploring stuff deeper in stuff like the trials and combat arena. the jankiest thing is probably the soccer puzzles though i managed to do them easier than i expected. glad i picked it up the 4th time, after 100% i 100% neon splash and beat tower because i couldnt get enough...
Tower is absurd and i wouldnt touch it until mastering the main game

its like a weird bumper cars game and ive never played anything like it.

I love it when things don't make sense but are still cool and engaging.
