How to play using a controller?
When you select controller and then go back it automatically goes back to the stupid keyboard, which is terrible as a controller. How do you select a joystick or such and KEEP it that?

I use an Xbox 360 controller and it works constanty and perfectly.
I've never used the keyboard once with this game.

I don't have a console. Only a computer and a logitech rumblepad. Also a Logitech attack 3. Only console I ever owned was an Atari 2600.

What's your point?

Go to the Pawn Shop like I did, buy a used one for $10, and plug in to your computer.
Works everytime.

So it'll work? No pawn shops around here but there's ebay and amazon. Still, shouldn't have to buy a new one for one game. I'm disabled and get less than $1000 a month. Minus insurance/medical and I just had a heart attack 3 weeks ago.

The controller works with pretty much every game on Steam with very minimal effort, so it might be worth your investment.
I certainly feel that way.

Good. The keyboard as a control is about as useful as a screendoor on a submarine. Sucks there isn't a standard controller for the computer. And one that only has 1 joystick and maybe 2 buttons. These newfangled stupid ones that have like 3 sticks and 12 buttons are insane. WHo the hell can handle that?

Yea I like the feel of the xbox controller and it has a reasonable amount of buttons.
Are you aware of the new Steam Controller as well?

No, but I found the Xbox one for like $15 including shipping from Hong Kong on Amazon. That's all I can afford for now.

I've never tried the new Steam controller personally, but I'm happy with the xbox 360 controller.
I hope you will be too.

As I said before, I didn't know you could use console controllers wirth a PC and the only console I ever owned was an Atari 2600 in the early 1980s.

As long as you have the controller in before you load the game the game should reconize it everytime. I use the PS3 controller and never had a problem. Hope that helps
