This game got delisted, apparently
Bandai Namco pulled this game (and the Ghostly Adventures tie-in platformer) from the Steam store just a few days ago, it seems. They're been wiped from the Xbox Store and PlayStation Network as well, so this isn't just a problem with Steam.

I can't say I'm upset with these being pulled, considering that neither of them are that good to begin with and they got average review scores. At the same time, there now isn't any official way to play the original Championship Edition on PC or Battle Royale on any platform, which is a bit of a shame.

I wish we got a reason for this, although I do assume it's because of the reviews. BN sees Pac-Man as a very iconic brand and is protective of it, so they likely axed these two to protect the status of the IP (Sega did this with Sonic as well several years ago, by pulling Sonic games that got mediocre reviews to make the brand look more valuable).

The reason for delisting is most likely the fact that this compilation included Ghostly Adventures references in the main menu. Ghostly Adventures game was also delisted too from all platforms. I think Namco is just trying to get rid of anything related to Ghostly Adventures Pac-Man in order to fix damaged brand reputation those games gave to the franchise.

I would have much rather preferred if they released an update for Pac-Man Museum that altered main menus instead of a full-on delisting.

I don't think that's the reason. I say this because Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 is still up for grabs on the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Network, and the Windows Store (it was released there instead of Steam, which is a bit weird).

I wonder if the Ms Pac Man DLC has anything to do with it, since AtGames screwed them over on the copyright.

Both Museum and Ghostly Adventures are still available on consoles in the UK, so I don't understand why they removed them on Steam.

Ghostly Adventures 2 was never released on PC. You can buy it on the Windows Store, but you would be buying it to play on console, not PC.

What's this about Sonic games? Which ones were pulled?
