Any plans for it, Namco?

I wish. I think they're pretty much done with Ms. Pac-Man except for arcade machines. Maybe NAMCO was disappointed the sales of Ms. Pac-Man's Maze Madness and Ms. Pac-Man: Quest for the Golden Maze or something. The last time I saw Ms. Pac-Man on a console was in NAMCO MUSEUM VIRTUAL ARCADE.
I really want at least one Ms. Pac-Man skin. I'd prefer more though, including her 16-bit SNES and Genesis port.

You can try making your own. Go into the PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+\data\cskin# directories and modify/replace a graphic skin files of Pac Man with Ms Pac Man.

Well correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Ms. Pac-Man came about as an unofficial sequel to Pac-Man by Midway and not Namco...

Yeah, all the game graphics are PNG files. I wouldnt mind making an attempt at a Ms. Pac-Man skin for those who MUST have it. :spelunky:

Yes, Ms. Pac-Man was unauthorized by Namco, but they came to an arrangement (the guys that made it said they still get royalties) and it is included in many compilations.

Midway made three sequels based on the original Pac-Man game: Ms., Plus and Jr. , while Namco made only two: Super and Pac & Pal.

Pac-Man Plus I think it was only ported once to one of those plug and play devices.

The one truly black sheep is Jr. Pac-Man.

Haha yeah but what exactly do you want? Like the modern skins, old skins, or what. Do you just want pac-man with a bow and blush?

Well, i'd like a modern take on her, so messing with the modern skins. I'd like to see her bought into THIS point in gaming, because it doesn't seem like Namco/Midway will do it anytime soon.
I looked at the PNG files and all the sprites are on the same sheet. One mistake and I could glitch the entire character. I'd better leave it up to someone who knows what he or she is doing. Is there any way to use these modified PNG files without NAMCO or Steam knowing?

I don tthink they'll ban you for modding your game. That's like getting in trouble for changing your start up background or or sound files.

Jr. Pac is the bomb (no pun intended).

Nothing to worry about when the game is not Vac secured. The only thing tired to your account is leaderboard and achivments. Which you can use third party appplications to edit both. I gave up careing about leader boards when they were hacked and cheated on super meat boy.
I don't want to cheat (well, not in multiplayer, anyway), I just want to play my own combinations. Thanks for the advice though.

Well, looks like Mod fever has started to take hold. :D
I hope NAMCO doesn't decide to be a killjoy and ruin this.
Who am I kidding? Of course they will!
