Cestus - what to infuse?

Fist power stance build here. Curious what the best infusion for the Cestus is. I know the scaling is what makes it an awesome weapon, so poison seems like a good bet, but im wondering how a lightning fist build might work. Since str/dex are soft capped at 40/40, im thinking if I raise Faith and add lightning to both hands, it might be more damage than infusing with poison or leaving it uninfused.

Don't infuse it. Also, the next soft-cap is 50/50 on STR/DEX.

as some one whos pretty much 99 in all stats others being 80+ leave it uninfused it wont do more damage any other way. BUT if you want to infuse it go poison ONLY of you have the sanctum soilder gauntlets other wise the trade off isnt good what so ever.. Poison them in 2-3 hits

So at 50/50 Str/Dex, the next step for more dmg would be more str/dex? Or can I level Faith and use sunlight blade/lightning powder to get more scaling? Or pyromancy flame weapon? 60 Faith would be enough for both right? Or are the points in Faith better spent going to 80/80 SRT/DEX?

Don't. Not everything needs to be infused.
