Dark Souls 2 Season Pass: buy it or not?

Hi guys,

I love the Souls series, after almost 250h on DS2 I recently started playing again Dark Souls and managed to get Demon's Souls for PS3.

I haven't bought yet the Season Pass for DS2 just because I didn't had much time to play in the past months, but I'd really like to.

Here is the question: considering that the "mysterious" Scholar of the First Sin is going to be available on April, and that actually we don't know how exactly this "upgrade" thing will work for the people who already got the game and the DLCs, what would you suggest about buying the Season Pass?

I am honestly quite struggling with this, since I wouldn't be happy to waste money on something that will potentially be obsolete in a while.

But on the other hand, if the community is going to be splitted up by the new version of the game (considering it should be hosted on different servers due to new engine of Scholar of the FIrst Sin) it could be wise to stick with the old one, just because many of us won't probably buy the new game because of FROM's policy and other reasons.

I am having the same problem as you and I am still can not cut it off hope my thought would help you some

well , I think if you enjoy the game and feel like to support them even they betray you in the end just buy them if you have got some money to spend because I beleive in 2 months you would get enjoy enough for DLC which you had bought I beleive it's worth your money.

but if you think you want a new one you should save those money because it's not for so long for the new version to comes out but it's may cause u a lot of money too which you may not buy them in the end.

If you can think of better ways to spend your money then don't get Season Pass. The DLC are jolly good but they only add a few hours to the game, very good hours mind you but nothing you can't wait a few months for.
