im level 122 a mage
either im too low a player for this level or im doing something wrong
i get killed to easily slow in the water and just cant move on
should i go bacl level up more or is this part just no good for mages

get a bow and a lot of poison arrows. When i remember that place i almost start crying

SL 122 is actually pretty high and go to your Page Status, top right hand corner for your Soul Memory. Dark Souls 2 connects in Soul Memory ranges rather than Soul Level ranges.

yes you can become human more frequently if you use the small soap stone because your time in another world is fairly short.

Again im in the area if you need help just tell me what god your useing and we can get going

Shrine of Amana has always been a difficult zone for me personally, but its possible at your level. Best advice would be to take it slow and try the best you can to lure enemies out for 1v1 combat. Use the binaculors to snipe them with spells

Btw ultimate cheese mode for any area in the game, play offline and when you kill something equip the ring of restoration and go do some laundry, then come back and continue.
