Anyway Raime >>> Artorias.
If I remember correctly his left arm only served as a means to interact with Sif.
Edit: Because Artorias was directly inspired by Guts from Berserk, confirmed by Miyazaki, I'm pretty sure it means Artorias is right-handed since Guts is also right-handed. Both of them have their arms mangled beyond repair, both of them have some sort of animal about them (Guts has wolf-like armor, Artorias has Sif), and both have something that consumed them (Hatred for Guts, abyss for Artorias). Both are also unmatched with Greatswords.
So i guess Artorias being left handed is a canon now.
I don't know how one could recreate Ornstein's armor to such detail, the sole difference being in color, and claim that it was original.
But seeing as there are armors in DaS2 that look almost identical to their counterparts in DaS, I don't think someone replicating that armor to such fine detail isn't plausible.
I just mean in the case of Ornstein's set. Really wish there was a Baldur's set in DkS 2.
shield in left hand/weapon in right means he is left handed. you hold a shield in your primary hand, and a weapon in your off hand.
