Oh it's not that bad. Just take it slow and use a bow!

I know, but i made it to the red phantom before the third bonfire and it is completely 100% impossible. I have beaten giant lord and guardian dragon at ng+10 but this phantom is impossible to beat.

Ah, I know what you mean. You can try to skip him by running up the ladder and at least activate the bonfire. Depending on your build there are some ways to handle him. If you have the strength to two-hand a large club you can R2 pancake him to oblivion.
try not jumping in the lava

The easiest and most reliable way to beat the phantom is climb up the ladder and have a weapon that can send your enemy flying aka Ultragreatswords, just as he's about to get up from the ladder R2 his ass.

You may have to do it twice but that's a pretty foolproof way of killing him.

or just run, skip smelter like I did

The 2 red captainst are pain tho. But it's just 2 enemies.

You can also stay at the top part of the ladder and keep kicking down... Maybe it depends on your poise, but I always managed to cheese him like that.

Oh dear, the trouserless turtle. I remember raging when I encountered him the first time ;)
A cheesy way to kill him is keeping distance and using poison throwing knives.
Watch out for his three attack combo, he's got a lot of stamina.

I am sorry to say this but those mobs are really easy just dodge to the front at the right time and circle them to gave him a backstab that's all done

He's super easy to parry, and all his attacks are parriable.
