Shadow Set Farming Tips?

Seems you can't exit to the main menu anyone within the Flexile Sentry fight, for myself it was grayed out. The only way i'v found to appear near the ship is to close the game completely, any other work arounds? Kinda wish to not spam my friends with me entering Dark Souls 2 every 30 seconds. :)

I'll be wearing the appropriate item-find gear of course.

The best way is do it alone i think. Flexile are easy to bait, just run to *it -> Back off ->Murder the mob-> Quit.

You can't exit to the main menu ingame anymore when fighting him. Only way to stay outside the ship is to close the game completely. Was just wondering if there was a faster work-around. :P

Why would you want to exit to main menu while you have aged feather/homeward bone? They work perfectly.

Gotta use those speedrun strats ^^ The entire area takes at max 2 minutes if you do it right.

Got mine by going in, killing the two assassin's and feathering out. It's pretty simple and the run back isn't too bad.

Heavenly Thunder works great on them, since the whole floor is water and all. As soon as you go through the fog just head to the corner to the right for a second and start casting. The shadows will get hit before they even get in range to hit you.

Alt+f4 is easier than alttab.

And without summon you should be able to eighter have feather on belt and use it or quit throught the menu.

You can run there from the bonfire in less than a minute. Just run past all of the mobs, go up to the dark apes drop down on the right side, where the building with the lucatiel summon is, run to the ship and right to the door leading into said ship. The 2 varangians coming out will always ignore you (even tho they turn their heads to you), giving you enough time to run inside and enter the fogdoor.

Kill the one on the right quickly, then dodge the sentry a bit until you have an opening for the second shadowman.

I didn't have the feather at this time, But I managed to farm the set with 16 Homeward Bones and about 10 Ring of Protection repairs, 1500~ HP doesn't fair well.

I got the entire set though, even a shadow-dagger, which I wasn't really wanting anyhow, at SM 500k~. The gauntlets will do wonders for my Royal Greatsword, soemthing i'v grown fond of in this build.
