Gaah.. how do you kill the invader in Frozen Elyceum
The guy who runs away like Maldron in Brume Tower. This guy just runs away when I get his health down, rejuvenates and actually can stagger me and kill me as well...

I tried poison and it works well but he just keeps running to one of his 3 points and just recharges up...

Next - Lloyds Talisman to prevent estus recovery and see.

Any tips?

Be sure you don't open the gate at all to prevent him from running away to the white Covetous Demon.

Clear the area of Ice Hedgehogs.

He'll run around the area to heal but it won't be too hard to stop him once he enters one of his hiding places with you just close by.

It should be easier killing him from there.

or open the gate, go down and kill the demon, teleport back to the bonfire, then chase him down and kill him with a lot of space to maneuver.

That's actually Maldron wearing a white ring. Still a total ass but at least he's pretty realistic as far as a-hole invaders go lol.

I think the one unfair thing about this game is the player has limited Estus' and limited spell uses but not the enemy AI.

If they wanted to make it fair, then the AI enemies should also have limited Estus' and limited spells etc.

And to the moron who said "git gud", I am actually very good in this game. I'm level 190 and play quite well here. This enemy just keeps running away.

I have managed to kill him now. I just needed to keep the pressure up and not let him out of my sight and backstab with my poison Stinger each time he thought of healing up. I left the gates closed as well.

sorry for my bad english....however he has limited estus: you have to poison him with bow or katana ...keep the pressure... follow him for 5 or 6 times to his points and finally he has nothing for healing.... job done....
i suggest: avoid melee with him in the rooms.

yeah, patience... kill everything around first, so you don't get stabbed in the ass by him.
DO NEVER EVER open the big gate before you engage him! If you do that, he'll try to hide behind the boss and *will* kill you, especially on NG+, where there are 2 phantom icehole rats beside the boss (they only spawn when you engage the boss..)

you'll kill him eventually, but don't get too greedy. he run away fast, but he'll run out of estus eventually.

hate that guy..

The best way to do it is to use a seed of tree giant on him. When he runs down there he gets torn apart... haha. Maybe. A little cheap but since he runs, he gets what he deserves!

I don't think it will work when Mauldron is a white phantom in Eleum Loyce
