What are some good rings for a strength melee?

Right now I am rolling around with a stone ring, chloranthy ring, royal soldier's ring, and a ring of blades. are these good rings to use? they seem to work.

Now I use my almighty demon great hammer, and my second favorite weapon the greeatsword.. but I am wondering if my stone ring is redundant or not using great weapons, or if it is best to be overkill on the poise damage?

You definely don't need stone ring on weapons with 30 or more poise damage ( Both of your weapons do more then that). You can switch it with Third Dragon Ring. Royal Soldiers ring only if you need more weight % reduction with your fashion souls outfit. Otherwise, you can just level vitality more and replace it with another ring.
If you are pvping, it would be a good idea to use Ring of Giants for that massive poise bonus, or you could use Dispelling ring +1 for excellent elemental defence, since everyone is either a caster or uses a buffed weapon. As your weapons are slow, Ring of Blades isn't really that useful, but unless situation demands you to use a specific ring ( Like Curse resistant ring at Shaded Woods, Nashandra, maintaining SM with agape, etc) you might as well keep it on due to lack of better not-fashion-souls-related rings.

Stone Ring is probably redundant, it's usually only good for small/fast low poise damage weapons which wouldn't stagger opponents at first hit.

No one is going to poise tank through a great hammer, and if anyone did, stone ring wouldn't change that.

Try to get a Second/Third Dragon ring to use instead.

if you're using a shield, I'd suggest the counter damage ring, instead of the stone ring
You may want to exchange the chlor. ring for a third dragon ring, other than that, it's pretty fine
