Stone Soldier Titanite Slab Farming

So I've been farming the stone soldiers at kings gate bonfire in drangleic castle. After farming for and hours or so and 20 slabs later it seems that the soldiers have stopped dropping anything. Maybe its my luck but after 4 clears and bonfire rests I've gotten nothing. When I started I would get at least one drop per run like their spear and shield, now nothing. Can anyone confirm this?

UPDATE: Literally after posting this I got another slab... guess it was just my luck

How many slabs do you need? D: Doing a normal run doing normal stuff (no farminf) I normally get 7-10 which is enough for all the equipment and random weapons!

I'm working my way to 99. call me crazy but I just want to get slab farming out of the way forever

UPDATE: They seem to have stopped dropping the spear and shield. Only getting slabs now
