Wtf... Wicked Eye Greatshield?!

So its suposed to absorb HP like the evil eye ring. Cool, I dont have the regen shield so this is god enough for now. I like me healing build, crap, but fun.
Then I read up on the wiki that it does not stack with the ring... O_O...
FUUUUUHHHHHH!!!!!!.....que

I thought Id better ask anyway. So does anyoe know if thats true? Does it really have no effect when using the drain ring?

Kill some hollows and find out. Generally regen/vamp builds don't work, I don't think from ever wanted them to work.

Its not worth using either item, you're better off with the regen ring if you want to regain HP. Both the shield and ring give such a tiny amount of HP its hard to even notice the heal. Hell even the regen ring is worthless as soon as you get to around 15 Vigor. Like.... the dude above me said, vamp builds are not viable in the souls series.

I wasnt asking for judgment on my build chocies... now I remember what I h8 most about DS...
After some extreme trooblshooting Iv found they dont work together, which is stupid. But regen builds work perfectly fine if your half decent at avoid most hits. Iv cleared complete areas and boss rooms without heals at all. Regaurdless, Iv been through dozens of builds this just happens to be where Im getting my fun from now.

I agree that in Dark Souls 2 there really aren't legit vamp builds now, and yeah, the wiki is right, those items don't stack but eh. I used to use the ring of regen cause I'm a dirty ♥♥♥♥♥ but I left it behind a long time ago. Probably about 350 hours of gameplay ago. But, there were very viable vamp builds in Demon Souls. Just wanted to mention since it was said there were none in the Souls series. It actually worked pretty well too, probably too well to the point where from took them out in the next couple games. There is however a certain kind of vamp build in Bloodborne now too.

they are viable in a no-bonfire run, since healing items end up being damn precious.
EDIT: also pretty sure they DO stack, just the amounts are pretty small. adds up in the long run though

I've heard that Loyce Set and Shield have the same effect and the ring of the evil eye and stack. (Fun fact, the regen of the armor only seens to work if you're playing a woman character)

Also Ivory Crown have the same effect as the regen Ring.

Maybe if you use all the regen items + butchers knife you might get a marginally viable regen build.

Just got the shield. With that the crown and the ring tied in with Evil eye and butcher blade Im sooking it up. Well actually Im playing a DLC area right now and there much harder so Im being beetn on like the new skinyn white kid again but in normal game I was pawning noobies.
