STOP GOING IN AROUND HER LIFEDRAIN PATCHES.

Farming for sunlight medals, you would not believe the amount of chucklenuts I've seen die in split seconds because for some reason they go full on like Havel's armor is an immortality tool. Havel's armor doesn't protect against stupidity. >:x

Okay okay maybe I'm giving the patches too much credit. Its a mixture of literally going into the patches and then "tanking" which basically to them means they think they're immortal but in reality they die from one slash because the patches took half their health off. Yes, I've been there. Otherwise I wouldn't have most the achievements I have.

...you do realize you're supposed to attack the patches to dissapate them, right? You don't take any more drain damage by standing on top of them as you do standing at the very edge of their range- and if you're trying to kill Nashandra with melee and you didn't clear them, you will take damage from the patches even if you're right on top of her.

If anything, you should stand on top of them as much as possible so you can clear them out quickly.

Btw, achievements don't mean you're good at the game. I've seen people with every achievement who don't know what a guard break does.

There's one thing most people forgot... try using a Hollow Skin (2nd DLC) and forget those lifedrain patches forever...no curse,no dmg.

So you can kill nashandra naked as a Sl 1 even on ng+7 only by using a Bow as all other attacks are easy to avoid.

I have fought Nashandra myself up to Ng+9 because i enjoy the thrill of the triple Bossfight; i usally wear some magic resist gear and swap quartzring between nashandra and aldia but i never had dark res over 700 or so...and with that + hollow mask i took no dmg from those lifedrain patches...never..i usually circle her shooting arrows/throwing fireballs and can stand directly in those patches without harm.

My mainchar is in tier 44, my name engraved ring is set to kremmel..if you dont believe me i would glady show it to you when you've a char in range (sm 5m+).

I'm amazed how many people don't know that you can destroy the smoke things by hitting them. Rolling works too but it's not 100% reliable in my experience.

Usually first thing I do in Nash fight, host or summon, is destry the smokes.

As a summon, I rush Nashandra. She normally calls those as her first attack, but if a player gets close enough to her before she starts that, she'll usually go for a Scythe swipe instead.

The curse orbs are annoying as heck, even if easy to deal with, and prevention is better than a cure, or however the line goes. Between the cursed orbs and the scythe swipes, I'd rather get hit by a swipe or 3. 3 swipes hitting me unblocked won't kill me and isn't going to eat an unsuspecting host alive when they are coming up from behind Nash, the curse orbs will.

Why even bother with them when they dont harm you; they despawn after a while on their own ond the following recast from nashandra means more free time to damage her;win win situation.

And not killing them means more time on the boss ergo a shorter fight at all.

Really guys...just wear some dark resist + hollow mask and you can forgot 1/3 of abilities.

Lol guys... I know how nashandra works. I know the bosses of this game back and forth, inside and out. Its the dense dummies that dont and summon people while wearing full havels + smelter head as if armor means anything to bosses. Then they run in and try to tank eeeeeeverything. Ive seen people try and fail at blocking. Best was seeing some dude trying to parry her though

Your OP showed you don't know how Nashandra works, sorry. I don't care how much you've played if you are giving wrong instructions on how to do the fight.

Even with Vendrick's Blessing, which grants complete immunity to curse, you still take DoT from the curse patches.

Actually.. I wasn't giving instructions. I was stating how people seem attracted to the patches like moths to a fire. an apparently, ♥♥♥♥♥ are attracted to this post. You need to cool yourself xD
