of course, that is only possible with higher levels (300+ ?), since you won't be having that much points to distribute before that.
that being said, the damage output will depend very much on the targets' resistances/defenses. riposte does take them into account. always fun to see them dark infusing idiots make like 1/10th of your health with backstabs.
btw, only thing heavy weapons are really good for is to stagger opponents, if that is possible. fast swinging weapons can do more damage over the same amount of time and leave you room for defensive maneuvers.
Infusing a weapon with 'S' rate for Strenght? Not a good idea. In almost all situations (If not all) your damage will decrease by infusing it.
