The long sword is definately a good weapon, especially infused. It has decent range and damage, and is a good weapon to compliment almost any build.
The sun sword is an ideal QUALITY weapon with a double A scaling for str and dex. It has a good moveset, and does decent damage. By no means should you ever infuse a sun sword.
the only downside is its durability
