DARK SOULS™ II

DARK SOULS™ II

Statistiche:
List of weapons and armors that I hope we will see in future content.
If there was one thing I was truely surprised from one patch, it was the Ivory King DLC patch. In this patch From Soft added in a boss weapon that was probably intended for the previous DLC, which was the Aged Smelter Sword. It might be simply because they couldn't finish up the data, or maybe they thought the Blue Smelter Demon needed some kind of reward other than the mask of the legend, but they still added in something for a past content. I hope this is one of the paths DS2 will take after the Ivory King DLC, because there were so many things that could have been added in, but weren't. This is a personal preference list, but feel free to continue reading what I have to ramble about.

1. Arm of the Last Giant
I remember seeing a video where someone was complaining that the Arm of the Last Giant wasn't his boss weapon. Yeah, it probably would have been a better and more interesting weapon than the Stone Axe that we never see the giants use. Defnitely would also be a hilarious weapon in PvP.

2. Armor of the Old Dragonslayer
Well, probably a large majority of the community wanted Ornstein's armor once they first met the Old Dragonslayer, so I probably don't need further comment.

3. Armor of the Pursuer
This one I was pretty surprised that it was unobtainable. I was going 'why?' when I first found out. The Pursuer is probably one of the much more unique knight bosses that we see in DS2, and his armor design is one of the reasons. I have seen so many people either in invasions or arenas trying to do a Pursuer cosplay, and I'm also one of them. It is especially disappointing because we do actually get both his sword and shield. Personally the Armor of the Pursuer is rank 1 on my want list, and I do hope we will be able to see it in future content.

4. Ruin Sentinel Shield and Hammer (Halberd)
More on the shield because of the fact that the Ruin Sentinel has an attack where he can throw his shield as a projectile. The hammer (or halberd) is really just to match up the look, but it is a pretty stylish looking weapon to match the armor and shield.

5. Najka's Spear (Halberd ,Staff)
Could have been interesting if this was the first weapon/magic catalyst hybrid you could obtain, but unfortunately it isn't so it takes a lot longer to obtain your first weapon/magic catalyst.

6. Giant Lord's Sword
Before the Giant Lord became a source of twinkling titanite and souls, I thought he was a really badass looking boss. I always wanted his sword as an Ultra Greatsword, just because the design seems to have some real weight into it. It reminded me of the Great Lord Greatsword from DS1, and I wouldn't mind if From just copy and pasted the moveset on to it. Also I think it would make the Giant Lord Soul a bit more favorable than to buy a hex that I never use.

7. Darklurker Robe
From the more mage like characters in DS2, Darklurker is definitely the coolest looking one. His robe almost looks like a part of its body, like an extension of feathers from his wings. Definitely a robe I want if they add it in.

8. Undead Steelworker Hammer
A proper hammer looking Greathammer. If you don't count the halberds shaped as a hammer, we don't really have many giant hammers. It would definitely help for my Smough cosplay.

9. Desert Sorceress' Mirror
I suppose From Soft thought it would be awkward to put in a pyromancy catalyst other than the pyromancy flame, but it would be nice for more options.

10. Gyrm Flail
The only Gyrm weapon you cannot obtain; an anvil on chain. So unfortunate.

11. Stone Knight Armor
The Stone Knights drop the Llewellyn set, but I always wanted what they were wearing. Especially the horse mask. I feel that DS2 kinda lacks having more 'fantasy' like knight armors.

12. Amana Shrine Maiden Robe
Another interesting robe that unfortunately cannot be obtained currently. They might have been a pain in your playthrough, but you have to admit they do wear pretty clothing.

13. Giant Sorcerer Robe
Yet another robe(?) that I kinda wanted. I guess it would be odd to make a chest piece and head piece that become on large ragged cloth, but it doesn't seem impossible.

Well, those are my picks. I don't know if From will bother to add them in, but I'm keeping it a possibility since I did see an interview during the Ivory King Teaser that the creators are going to continue to update the game to make it closer to what people expected.

I want 12. the most!

Oh and with 10. there's also the axe's the guy throws.

Also 2. needs to have the plume (the DS1 version was unplumed!).
I'm not sure which one I want the most. They all looked awesome, and I was hoping you could get them in some way in the game.. Sadly, you can't.

Someone else mentioned this but I definitely agree: the head of Mytha as a spell tool. Just imagine if hitting R2 does AOE.
Absolutely the Old Dragonslayer armour. Complete number one for me.

I never thought of the Darklurker robe, but that would definitely be my number two. Then the Pursuer Armor and Giant Lord Sword.

you can get that by doing stuff for gavlan or something (one per playthrough i believe)

i would love me some pursuer armor, or even the darklurker robe, hell yeah
