Ice Rapier?

Came across it as i was looking at some other links (weapons) that were provided in my halberd thread.

Anyone have this and is it any good?

Stats wise, it does look pretty nice, infusing it and you lose hardly any physical power on it which is great but i'm worried about the scaling a bit.

Granted, the rapier looks wicked, so if i had this (assuming of course it does look as nice ingame), i would probably use it regardless just for the looks (Fashion Souls, anyone?).

(might finally have found me a decent weapon here)

So yeah, opinions, comments, feedback.. all welcome!

Get the Ice Rapier in the one Bone Fist in the other hand. That combo is really overpowered.
Ice Rapier alone still deals pretty good damage but the main pro of this weapon is its range.
I dont know for sure but the Ice Rapier has one of the longest if not the longest range of all thrusting sword.

Ice rapier is awesome. On my STR/DEX 68/68 its the best rapier around. Infusion only makes it better. But it is fragile.

On a dext/magic build, it's really really really good. Infusion with magic, cristal magic weapon too and you're ready to go. I still use it in NG+7.

Ice Rapier is one of those broken hitbox weapons so yeah its pretty good for PvP. Can't say much about it for PvE though

Hm, not really into pvp not that i've gotten much exposure to it since been invaded twice, thus far (not counting the Belfry encounters).

But it's nice to know it's good in pvp, if i ever do get into it some more.

Ice Rapier is a great weapon, when infused with Magic it also really helps its R2 (which is a magic beam). Its a great PvE weapon if you want to try out rapiers.

The only minus is that you need to clear a great portion of a game to get it.

Then all weapons have a broken hitbox. It's called latancy. It's just more noticable with smaller weapons such as raipers, fist weapons, ect.

Does magic infusion increase the, err beam thing damage then?

As would obviously infuse it with dark but if magic magic the special attack strong and especially if the scaling will be loltasticly bad, then could go other route than dark with it.

Well, my hexer is ready to move onto ng+ but since i'm waiting for a dlc sale, he's kinda stuck in a way, hence why i am asking after weapons.

So i would just need to clear/farm the crap out of the.. whatever dlc Ice Rapier dropped from, after i got it.

the ice rapier is really overpowered in pvp because of the special attack.
its too hard to dodge because it flies very fast and is completely depending on lag

It's a rapier. That automatically makes it good.

Also it's good, so upgrade it or whatever.

EDIT: Oh, and if you're worried about farming don't be. You'll find a few in the course of the dlc. I promise.
