Dark Souls 2 Crowns. Iron Crown glitch & Vendrick's Blessing

Hi guys. I have some questions regarding the DLC crowns. Maybe someone ran into similar problems to me.

First. I ran into a glitch where I didn't get the Old Iron King's Crown. At some point during my playthrough of the second DLC all the idols collapsed on their own (I would only find bits of Nadalia's soul on the ground and collected all of them, all 11 Smelter Wedges are still in my inventory). I also defeated the Fume Knight. However, right behind him, the body of Nadalia sat on the throne... and there was no crown. I've tried everything from backing up save data, to verifying game cash integrity, to going to other areas, reloading and using a Bonfire Ascetic. Nothing worked. There is no interaction prompt with her body. The Crown isn't in my inventory. Additionally the game apparently "thinks" that I have the Old Iron King's Crown, because it let me into the Sir Alonne memory and I have defeated him. I was told that with the final DLC this glitch's been fixed, but only if you start NG+ and beat the DLC from the start.

Now that in itself is rather annoying, but what troubles me isn't having to beat a DLC again. I read about Vendrick's Blessing (Which you get for collecting all three crowns) that it doesn't carry over to NG+. Okay, fair enough. But I also read that all four crowns must be collected within the same game cycle in order for the cutscene/blessing to trigger (info came from the wiki). With that said, do the Crowns I already have carry over to my next playthrough? Is it still possible for me to collect all four crowns within the same game cycle? Could anyone tell me if there's been an update on the Old Iron King's Crown glitch?
